Tapas in LA

I can’t say I have been more excited to visit a Spanish restaurant since my days in Madrid, but El Cid is already bringing back fond memories of flamenco music and frenzied nights.
A Hollywood landmark located in the mysterious Silver Lake region, El Cid is known as one of LA’s premier cabaret concert theatres set amongst the backdrop of a replica 16th Century Spanish tavern.
Amidst gardens, fountains and picturesque patios, I will be shmoozing with Hollywood-types you wouldn’t see on the silver screen. California Connected is a PBS show that has just finished a season and is hosting a wrap party. I’ve been to a few wrap parties, but I have a feeling this one won’t be entertaining meaningless banter.
