Try your hand at getting tickets, pack a picnic and get ready for one of LA’s biggest pyrotechnic displays at the end of the show. Get more info.

Americafest 2008
Where: Rose Bowl Stadium (Pasadena)
When: July 4, 6–9:30 p.m.

Details: The Rose Bowl has been celebrating the 4th of July for 82 years, so you better believe that they know how to put on a show. Live performances by marching bands from across the country will get things started, while the evening culminates at 9 p.m. with a fireworks show by Pyrospectaculars, known for their work at past Super Bowls and the Olympics. July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza
